Is it too late?
Get your head out of your own bum, Kristina!
This is what I said to myself this morning.
I was ignorant living in my own bubble for all these years as an artist.
Don’t take me wrong, I love my own bubble, this is the best company I could ever have (apart from Salvador Dali, but he is dead).
When I started studying Art and Design in College I wasn’t thinking where it could lead me or how it could change my mindset.
Well, it has, and significantly!
I realised I want to continue studying in university.
After visit in University of Suffolk and lecture by Jane I now look back on how rebellious I was being proud as self-taught, but what I was doing - I was compromising on my own growth as an artist…
I have learned so much in one drawing session, not just about the subject, but myself. as creative!
Imagine how much I could learn in 3 years!
My fellow student friends already have completed their UCAS accounts. (UCAS – the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service in the UK.)
Is it too late?
I asked one of my tutors this morning.
I must create an account on UCAS, write personal statement, essay, portfolio, and all other bits to register for an application.
Guys, it isn’t too late!
I am so excited to find out that there is a chance for me to get into university to study Fine Art even if I am 34-year-old mummy, even if English is not my first language…
There is a chance!
Wish me luck.
