Don’t burn your bridges

I have just received a message from Jackie, The Bell Gallery owner, that someone came back to buy one of my artworks after the exhibition has ended, and after we have already cleared everything away.

I feel grateful that I have sold out most of my exhibits in March, so have a few of my friends in the gallery. Check out these amazing red dots by my artist friends, which means SOLD in the commercial gallery world.

This was not just an ordinary exhibition, this was more like a reunion of the Dennington Arts Group after a few challenging years. Thanks to Stephen Watkins for getting us together after we lost our dear friend, the founder of Dennington Arts, Rosie Mckenzie.

Rosie Mckenzie was one of the kindest people I have ever met. If not for her, I would not have met other folks and wouldn’t be where I am now.

Light and Life exhibition has inspired me to get myself back in the community. Since then, I have visited many other exhibitions and I’m finding myself engaging with art again.

Whenever you are feeling low in your life, do not burn your bridges. Step back, do what you have to do for your own wellbeing, but stay respectful and kind.

Community is important, what we represent matters.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me, collectors who have purchased my work, and everyone who has come to see my artworks. It means the world to me.
