From rags to riches

I adore a girl who can seem impoverished one day and fierce the next!

My week-to-week life at the moment varies from metal grinder to pristine exhibitions, from a messy mother bun to a hairstyle from a beauty salon, and I am loving it.

I work with an amazing group of people part time at Laurence Edwards Foundry in Halesworth. On other days, I collaborate with enthusiastic artists at the University of Suffolk.

When it comes to associating with others who share my views, I often ask myself if I would want my son to be surrounded by these people.

I'm surrounded by kind, genuine, and accomplished people right now.

I am appreciative of each and every one of you - for the encouraging emails you send me, the commission requests you make, the opportunities you provide me to work with you, and the love you show me.

To the rest of the world, this water bottle is merely an object, but to me, it serves as a daily reminder of the goodness in people. Dharma, a fellow student, noticed that I struggle to drink enough water because I frequently forget or opt for Pepsi Cherry instead. So, she looked for a pretty bottle with colours I like in the hopes that it will motivate me to do so.

So far so good!

I'm currently working on a commission piece, which gives me the freedom to create art solely for its own reason without having to adhere to any rigid guidelines. As a full-time student who has limited time, I am grateful of the collector's flexibility.

Seeing art in person is always exciting. I've liked seeing the displays put on by Level 3 students at Suffolk New College and University of Suffolk Final Year students.

I'd like to extend an invitation to you to visit the exhibition that my talented pals James Maberley, Stephen Watkins, Sherie Brinkley, Verity Watkins, and David Patrick and I have created together.

The Bell Gallery, Bungay, is where you may find me on Wednesday's and on March 18th. See the leaflet below for additional information and opening hours.

I'll have a mix of both new and old artwork. I'll keep my content a secret, so hopefully we'll run into each other there!
