Do you believe in fate, or do you think it is coincidence?

No, my friend didn’t buy a personalised cup for me!
I had a coffee morning with 2 members of Dennington Arts committee.
We have been joking about cup sizes: Rosie loves huge mugs and I adore tiny ones.
Maggie is moving soon; she opened her cupboard as we speak where it was this lonely small cup:
- There, Kristina, I've had it for many years, I don’t use it, I need to de clutter
before moving anyway…
I was so happy with the gift, but then…
We all got goosebumps as I turned the cup upside down to see it said my name.
Usually in England Kristina is spelled Christina or Kristine…
This cup said Kristina. I currently live in England too!
She didn’t know what it said on that cup as it was tucked away for many years when I didn’t even know her...
Now, do you think it is a coincidence or it was meant to be?
Personally, I believe everything happens for a reason and I was in a right place at the right time with the right people.
I believe the same if something happens not so pleasant too, no matter how hard it might be at a time…
But here I was having our first Dennington Arts meeting getting ready for Spring Art Exhibition 2022.

We help local artists to show their work in a highest standard without huge gallery costs.
We are not getting paid, in fact, we even dig into our own pockets to add extra bits so that the event gives the biggest chance for local artists to become more visible and to sell their artworks.
We are not competing with galleries either, this is more of a community event with cakes and coffee, we have so many four-legged friends too!
New York, London, Shanghai galleries were a great experience in my artist journey, but right now - there is nowhere else I would rather be.
