I'm in!

Today I had my first internship day at Laurence Edwards bronze foundry.

Exhilarating!

Rewarding!

Fulfilling!

I feel like I could burst from the excitement, because today I have joined Laurence Edwards team in Halesworth, where the great Yoxman sculpture was born.

It was my dream to be a part of the foundry and today the dream became reality, thanks to the artist and the whole team for an opportunity of a lifetime.

My safety boots when I walked in versus after an an hour in the workshop

From the moment I stepped my foot in it I feel like I belong there, the place is filled with amazing sculptures, each telling the story, and the people, who are handling those sculptures, are a big part of it.

We laughed.

We worked hard.

We laughed some more.

Thank you for welcoming me in your tribe, for guiding me and for showing me some outstanding problem solving skills.

Me and Ellen had matching hairstyles! If that is not meant to be, then I don’t know what is.
