How to turn negative into positive?
Fantastic Six
Every negative though needs 6 positive thoughts to rewire our brain and to break a bad cycle. This is what my dear friend has told me, and guess what? It works! I am sure it will for you too.
2021 was the most challenging year in my life, filled with many events, good and bad. I still get echoes from it by today, even though it is April 2022.
Here is my Fantastic Six that i have used to rewire and reset my brain:
1. University. I wanted to go, i fought for it, i turned that dream into a reality and i am going!
2. Sculpting. I met a great sculptor who inspired me. I began my journey into sculpture. My FMP (final major project) is going well, i enjoy it. I believe i have found a new and exciting medium to explore and learn.
3. My classes. I did well with workshops for Coastal Leisure Learning, i have got great feedback and made beautiful connections. I love teaching and i am on a journey of becoming a teacher in higher education.
4. Support. I have family and friends who are there for me. If my car breaks down - they lend it, i need to talk to someone - they are there…
5. Achievements. Remembering all the journey and how far i have come. Good grades in College, I no longer am on tablets, I have started my blog, I wrote a book to support beginner artists…
6. Peach. I have a nice bum. 🙂
This is NOT “I am grateful for…” list, as that list wouldn’t stop at 6. This was just a quick fix to break my negative thoughts.
